The new update is not good. Doesnt connect as good now and the user interface is not nearly as easy to use. Please bring back the previous user interface.

This app will no longer allow me to input weight manually – it will allow you to put the data in but it will not save it and Trends shows that no data was entered for that period. Totally useless app now.
I used this several times over the year very successfully. But now I cannot get it to discover devices or sync information. Quite a disappointment for the money spent!
I cant wait until my iHealth device fails so I can get someone elses version. These devices are real simple and the apps should be real simple. If it is more of a pain to automatically work with the app compared to just entering into HealthKit, then why spend the extra money for a device?
I am really not fond of this version. I like many of the functions of the previous version. I really miss most the fact that the app no longer gives me an average of my blood pressure. I hate that every time the app launches it tells me how to connect my Bluetooth device that I do have have. I wish I could go back in time and NOT update.
One would think that 2.0 is the app to download. It was updated as recently as September. Why is development still going on for both apps? Which one should I use?
I cannot say enough good thing about this device and its integration with the "Orange" iHealth app. Bluetooth pairing was a BREEZE on my iPad2 on iOS8. Now running on iOS9 and no troubles. I have had it for three or four months now and it has been working like a champ! I can take my BP virtually ANYWHERE. The reports it provides impressed my doctor. I HIGHLY recommend this. It also interoperates with other apps, like Runtastic. What else can I say? Go get one at MEIJERS.COM online. If you dont like it, Meijers will typically take it back.
Most of the negative iHealth MyVitals app are inaccurate, these are people not willing or patient enough to understand the simple protocol of using the iHealth devices. 1) You open the iHealth MyVitals app first, do nothing more. 2) Then turn on your iHealth Bluetooth device, and, then, 3) select that device within the MyVitals app, the Bluetooth pairing is immediate and the vitals/data recording is accomplished, instantly. The “old” MyVitals app is the same as the “new”, unchanged except for format size. The “new” app displays better on larger format devices, i.e. Apple’s iPad Pro, the “old” is easier to read on a much smaller screen, granted. If you’re not monitoring your health with iHealth Labs provisions (app & devices) and going for a walk, you’re missing out in promoting your own good health!
For a $100.00 scale, you think theyd have their stuff together. But nope. App works half the time along with the scale. if there is a recent app update. Forget about it! The app doesnt work. Updated on the 11th and non of it has worked since. Ive deleted and reinstalled the app, wifi IS WORKING. And Ive replaced the batteries in the scale. Will take the weight, but will not recognize the user and give the other details its supposed to. If I could return, I would. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
Ever since the recent update the app wont recognize the BP5 blood pressure device.
There is no valid reason for this, the old iHealth app that worked with my old scale didnt require a login. I also do not see the device appear in my Bluetooth settings, so it seems to be broken. I will be returning the scale and posting this information elsewhere.
Why cant I just log the info myself? I dont have an unlimited amount of money to buy all the gadgets to make this work. What a scam.
Does NOT sync with HealthKit.
I purchased iHealths wireless body analysis scale recently. I was able to measure my weight once the scale was associated to my homes WiFi. This information will be very useful in helping me achieve my fitness goals (I am doing my best to lose weight so my A1c falls below the pre-diabetes category.) This app is providing the information that I definitely want (and need) to see: muscle mass, body fat %, body water %, visceral fat rating, bone mass, lean mass, etc.) This will help me achieve my goal weight and (hopefully) reduce my A1c for my next doctors visit.
I have both the blood pressure and glucose monitors from iHealth and use the MyVitals app to control those devices and monitor my data. The apps have evolved a long way since I first started using them a few years ago. In the past they were less than stellar, however now, for the last several versions, I have no complaints. They do what they say they will. Data flows in to Apple “Health” without issue. Straightforward and to the point.
I have had this for a year and it is perfect. In the first year I used the wrist blood pressure cuff and the weight scale. Both worked great with my iPhone 6. I had a stroke in early December and my cardiologist wanted me to use an arm cuff so I ordered one. The blue tooth connection was simple. Ive also changed along with their app updates and havent had any problems. I love this setup and would never go back to a regular analog blood pressure or weight measurement device again. I have not used the exercise wrist device so I cant advise on that.
I like the app when I use my pulseoximeter but I wish it could also record the pulse wave not just show only the stats when your done. It doesnt give you the option to record the wave. Please add the capability to record in live time the pulse wave. Until then I only giving this app 3 stars.
This app is wonderful. There are so many devices available, and it easily syncs with your other health apps including the native health app. You can even upload your data to get reward points a Walgreens! I have recommended this app and the various devices to my patients as a Family Physician. They can upload their data into my medical records system so that we can keep track. This decreases the number of times a patient has to visit, and increases compliance with required home vitals checking. I can also trust the automated devices because they are all standardized, and it mostly eliminates human error. I highly recommend this system, you wont regret it!
This is the first time in a long time the ihealth apps have worked properly for my iPhone 6 plus. Good job guys. Keep it up. It seems like theres added functionality too.
Ever since this App updated a couple days ago, I have not been able to log into the App from iPhone 6s Plus. I even updated my password and still was not able to. Also tried logging in through the Facebook/Twitter Within the app and it provided an Error code. I never had any issues prior to this upgrade ... Hopefully this can be reviewed and fixed quickly as I use this App every day for blood pressure monitoring. Thank you
